Gathering Storm Magazine, Collected Tales of the Dark, the Light, and Everything in Between (2016-2018)

The flagship, mother-and-son creative project founded by Michael McHenry and Cinda McHenry, Gathering Storm Magazine (GSM) had a successful run for two years before closing its doors.  The publication featured themed, original short stories, poems, interactive fiction, and other "tidbits" that focused on sci-fi, fantasy, horror, steampunk, sword & sorcery, and any other genre that tickled the minds of readers. All of the stories submitted to GSM adhered to one of the themes posted for the respective issue, but were always based on old sayings, maxims, and proverbs that we all know and love to use everyday.  Click on the pictures below to be taken to the free PDF versions that you cam read in their entirety.  Print editions are still available on Amazon!
